Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat)

 Chico is a very sweet and energetic boy who was found running loose in Liberty. He has completed his stray hold and is now available for adoption! Chico is approximately 3 years old and has been neutered. He does not have a current rabies vaccine and his heartworm status is unknown. Shelter staff has given him his canine distemper and bordetella vaccinations along with a dewomer.

Chico absolutely LOVES toys, especially ones that squeak! He's always excited to play with them and enjoys it when he has a human to play with too! Chico doesn't have many manners and would definitely benefit from basic obedience training, and an owner who understands he'll need to be worked with. He knows how to sit but likes to jump, something he would definitely need work on. Chico doesn't realize how large and powerful he is, it wouldn't be difficult for him to knock over a small child on accident. Chico has not been tested with other animals yet, and it is unknown if he has been around children. This information can be provided upon request.

Chico will have an adoption fee of $80 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of his neuter, canine distemper and bordetella vaccinations, and a simple dewormer. This fee does NOT include the cost of his rabies vaccine or heartworm test. These additional fees are paid by the adopter, directly to the vet clinic.
